1.Scope
1.1By using the Service you agree to comply with this policy. Breach is a material breach of the Terms of Service and may lead to suspension or termination under clause 9 of those Terms.
2.You must not
2.1Use the Service in a way that breaks any law of England and Wales or any other jurisdiction whose laws apply to your use, including data protection, consumer, employment, food, alcohol and licensing law.
2.2Upload, store or transmit through the Service any content that: (a) infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy or other rights; (b) is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, or constitutes hate speech; (c) is obscene, indecent, or sexually exploits or endangers minors; (d) contains malware, ransomware, time-bombs, or other harmful code.
2.3Use the Service to send unsolicited marketing in breach of PECR or UK GDPR, including via SMS, email or in-product channels.
2.4Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its underlying infrastructure, other Customers' accounts, or any system or network connected to the Service.
2.5Probe, scan, penetration-test or otherwise test the vulnerability of the Service, except under a written authorisation from us, or run any vulnerability disclosure activity outside our published policy.
2.6Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the Service, except to the limited extent permitted by section 296A of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
2.7Resell, sublicence, rent, lease or otherwise make the Service available to any third party, except to your Authorised Users for your internal business operations, without our prior written consent.
2.8Use the Service to build, train, or fine-tune a competing product, or to benchmark the Service without our prior written consent.
2.9Place excessive automated load on the Service, scrape data, or use APIs in a way that breaches documented rate limits or fair-use guidance.
2.10Misrepresent your identity, impersonate any person, or attempt to obscure the origin of communications sent through the Service.
3.Customer Data you place in the Service
3.1You must have a lawful basis under UK GDPR for any personal data you upload, including guest contact details, dietary notes, staff records and CCTV-related metadata.
3.2You must provide your data subjects with the information required by Articles 13 and 14 UK GDPR and honour their rights requests promptly.
3.3You must not upload special category data (Art. 9 UK GDPR) unless a condition for processing is met and you can demonstrate compliance on request.
4.Reporting and enforcement
4.1Report suspected abuse or security issues to support@venuecore.solutions.
4.2We may investigate suspected breaches and may suspend or remove offending content or accounts where reasonably necessary. We will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy unless the breach is serious, repeated, or requires immediate action to protect the Service or third parties.
